Sega CD

A lot of folks might disagree with us but we think the Sega CD was one of the greatest systems ever made. Released in '92, it wasn't the first video game system to use CD-Roms but it was the first system to be called the Sega c...d. Yea.

Thanks to the Sega CD the world was graced with one of the greatest RPGs to date: Lunar. The Lunar series is to RPGs what great tennis balls are to Tennis players, you hit em and they go flying! ?

Sega CD also saw great titles like Snatcher, Vay, Popful Mail and Sonic CD. If you own a Sega Genesis you owe it to yourself to buy a Sega CD. There are two different styles of Sega CD. The first generation version has a sliding disc drive and is meant to fit on the first generation Sega Genesis (the one with the volume control on it). The second generation Sega CD has a pop up cover for the disc drive (like a portable cd player) and was produced for use with the second generation Sega Genesis (the slick lookin one.). The 2nd generation Sega CD can be used with either the first generation Genesis or the 2nd generation Genesis but the 1st generation sega cd can only be used with the 1st generation Genesis. Get it? Good. Now go buy one.
